Since the digital platform is open for all, irrespective of viewers age. However, we should also understand how much is too much? We have plenty of choices available to watch the content on any topic. Children are vulnerable to adult programs. Do you know that the programs, we regularly watch leaves an impressionable impact on our minds.
Our body holds, remembers and creates memory on all levels of senses. Our auditory and visual senses are highly influenced by all the things that we watch now-a-days, be it on television or social media. Virtual world is highly influential, and our audio/video senses are susceptible to it. Watching these content can highly impact us in a way that we start living in that moment with emotions and if we watch same program every day, it goes to our subconscious mind and we start believing in it. For instance, the advertisement of any aerated drinks which comes in between the shows and gives a constant message that if you feel thirsty take aerated drinks. It impacts us so much that whenever we feel thirsty, we ask for aerated drinks instead of other options. Same goes for advertisement of beauty products, packed food or weight loss pills. Our choices for this are already made in our subconscious mind. We unknowingly training our conscious mind to believe what we watch through subconscious mind. These are the few things that can really hamper our personal development. We are opting for easy options and methods and changing our lifestyle. How healthy lifestyle we are leading is questionable thing!
There is apt saying about this behavior; “Think like a Monkey, we become and behave like a monkey. Think like Monk, we become, and behave like a monk.”
Our subconscious mind is thinking/active constantly and our thought processes have direct impact on our speech and reflect it on our body language. Hence for a better life and better well-being, we must pay attention towards what you see and hear. Subconscious mind ideates autopilot mode. Scientifically proven that our subconscious mind works million of times faster. 95% of decisions are made in subconscious mind. What our auditory senses are watching and hearing our subconscious mind accepts those ideas and starts executing them.
